This article summarises findings from our annual survey of pay and conditions for engineering roles. We look at engineering pay awards in 2024 and how these have changed since 2023, along with a breakdown by sub-sector and how union recognition can affect the level of award. The survey also gathered information on the pay pressures felt by employers plus insights on how they are tackling recruitment and retention issues, as well as data on actual pay rates. In this article we also look at the level of awards in 2025 so far.
