Inflation remains steady in June

Inflation has remained steady in the year to June 2024, according to the Office for National Statistics. The headline inflation figure for the Consumer Prices Index including owner occupiers’ housing costs (CPIH) is unchanged at 2.8% and the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) also stayed the same, showing at a rate of 2.0% for two consecutive months. Meanwhile, the Retail Prices Index (RPI) has fallen slightly from 3.0% in May to 2.9% in June.
