- Finance: £26,226
- HR: £26,421
- IT: £26,952 (the highest median salary)

Further analysis highlights sector-specific trends, with support roles attracting the highest salaries in the further education (FE) sector. The median salaries for support roles at IDR job levels 3 and 4 are:

- Independent schools: £26,436
- Multi-academy trusts (MATs): £25,576
